Would you go the extra mile to protect Minnesota's lakes, rivers and streams - and drinking water for millions of Minnesotans and Americans? Would you run 26.2 miles?
The good news is you don't have to!
Help Team Nature!
I and other runners have joined The Nature Conservancy's team – Team Nature! – to participate in the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon on October 7, 2012. We’ve all committed to raising funds for The Nature Conservancy’s freshwater protection work in Minnesota.
Through our efforts and your support we hope to raise a total of $10,000 to help protect Minnesota's lakes, rivers and streams. Our focus will be the Mississippi River, which provides drinking water for almost 1 million Minnesotans and millions of additional Americans. With your help, we can make a real difference for the health of the Mississippi River - and for everyone who depends on it.
How You Can Help
Help me and our other runners finish strong so we can meet our goals! Help us protect Minnesota's lakes and rivers, including the Mississippi!
When you donate to Team Nature, nature and people benefit. Just hit the big, orange donate button and you are helping to support The Nature Conservancy's vision to leave a sustainable world for future generations.
Thank you for your support of our natural world and of Team Nature!
