Thank you for your support, friends! A large box of wipes and a large box of diapers were donated to the YMCA! They were quite thankful! See More

EVENT DATE Oct 09, 2015

THE STORY:

Goal: To raise $5000 to donate in new toys, games, clothes, and diapers/wipes to the Summerville Family YMCA Childwatch.

Timeframe: September 9 - October 9, 2015

Bonus: I will walk/run 1 mile per every $5 donated. If your generosity exceeds the 30 day time period, I will continue to walk and run past October 9th until all funds are translated to miles!

What's going on: You know how it always seems like a good idea to give on your birthday rather than receive? Or to volunteer and donate in place of Christmas presents? This year, I'm turning that idea into a reality. It will make a good lesson in generosity for my 2 year old daughter too. For the month leading up to my birthday, I will collect funds that will be all be directly used toward the purchase of new items to be donated to the Summerville YMCA Downtown Childwatch. If you are in the local area (Summerville, SC), I would love to have you join me mid October to purchase and deliver all items bought with the funds raised. Updates will be given frequently through the fundraising timeframe!

I visit the YMCA 6 days a week with my two young daughters. The Childwatch facility has been an amazing and wonderful blessing to my girls and to myself. I hope to share the love and give them a thank-you gift in return for all of their hard work in fostering a positive and fun environment for local children.

Thank you for your support!
