On Friday June 17th, Avery & Pam Krauss books + friends (both human and canine) will be participating in the annual Penguin Random House Global Walk in NYC to benefit CAMBA. I hope you will consider giving a few dollars (or more!) to support Avery and this wonderful nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible and will directly support CAMBA. Together, we can make a difference. Thanks for your support!
A bit about CAMBA: CAMBA is one of NYC’s largest multi-service agencies that provides integrated services and programs in: Education and Youth Development, Family Support, Health, Housing, Legal Services, and Economic Development through more than 160 programs. In the Penguin Random House spirit, CAMBA is committed to fostering a passion for reading and developing literacy skills for New Yorkers in need, recognizing that literacy is an essential key to self-sufficiency and economic security. Additionally, CAMBA’s adult literacy center teaches English reading and writing skills to more than 1,000 immigrants each year, many of whom can neither read nor write in their native languages. Together, Penguin Random House and CAMBA can help break down barriers and open doors for young people and adults, transforming their lives and those in their family.
