I am back on Team iMentor—this time running the Hamptons Half Marathon in Long Island, New York!
iMentor is a school-based mentoring program that empowers high school students in low-income communities to graduate high school and succeed in college. Students work with their mentors to develop strong relationships, nurture college aspirations, navigate the college application process, and build critical skills that lead to success.
For two years, I have been a volunteer mentor, witnessing the benefits of this fantastic program firsthand. My mentee, Ambar, is about to begin her junior year of high school, and I am excited to help her shape the next chapter in her life.
Please consider supporting me, Ambar and iMentor, and check out what it takes to become a mentor. Your donation will help support 3,000 mentor-mentee pairs across New York City!
