Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America is known for its extraordinary medical care and ground-breaking research. In addition to two medical complexes in Israel that serve all people of the region and those airlifted to its doors, Hadassah runs training clinics in Africa for those suffering from AIDS, has sent medical staff to Haiti and the Philippines and partnered with hospitals and medical schools in Europe and the United States. Boston was the beneficiary of the trauma protocol developed at Hadassah Hospital as Israeli -trained medical staff from local hospitals responded to the wounded victims of the Marathon bombing in April 2013. Right now medical trials for ALS patients at Massachusetts General Hospital and UMASS Memorial Medical Center are being held as a direct result of the stem cell research done at Hadassah.
To give you a better idea of Hadassah and our mission, please feel free to visit our website at www.hadassah.org/Boston or contact us at 781-455-9055 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We would love to tell you more about who we are and what we do.
