BENEFITING: Children's Museum of the Arts, Inc.
FRIENDS! FAMILY! FAMILY OF FRIENDS! BIG NEWS!
I am running the 2011 ING NYC Marathon (no, seriously, I am!). I am completely excited, I am completely terrified, and I am completely in need of your help.
I am running to raise money for the Children's Museum of the Arts and I am asking you to donate one buck, two bucks, 5 bucks, ten bucks, any bucks at all to help support this amazing organization.
If you choose to do so (do it, do it, do it) here are just of few of the things your money will do:
Provide quality arts education to students of all ages, ethnicities, and economic backgrounds across NYC
Help fund LYFE, a program which provides access to the arts for low income teenage parents and their children
Provide funding for Stripes, a monthly opportunity for children with autism, their siblings & parents to engage in visual art making, creative performing experiences, and imaginative play
Support RESTART, a program through which CMA provides multi-session free art programs for children living in transitional housing
Help continue CMA's ARTogether program which provides an opportunity for families who are receiving preventive services, in foster care working toward reunification, or building kinship relationships to bond, interact, and play together in a comfortable and positive environment.
CMA does way more than can be contained on this one page. Check out cmany.org to learn all about where your lovely donations are going.
Big, small, pennies, nickels, donations of all kinds help.
thanks, thanks, thanks,
love, love, love
