I want to apologize for the late notice and hope I can still make a difference. Being a Coast Guard Veteran, I have seen many things. We hear about our first responders and military paying the ultimate price. I have always wished that there was something I could do to help them and their families. Stephen Siller Tunnel to Tower Foundation has given me that chance to help. This foundation raises money for many wonderful things. One of their programs is Building for America’s Bravest. They build Smart Homes for our most catastrophically injured service members returning home. In addition to building custom-designed smart homes for service members, and making a significant difference in the lives of first responders and their families, the Foundation co-chaired a capital campaign for a residential home providing a temporary haven for orphaned and/or broken teenagers, committed to help raise funds to relocate an orphanage in Haiti for over 100 children in need, and led the way in restoring the lives of families devastated by Hurricane Sandy. The Foundation set up a Relief Center where disaster victims received essential food items and supplies to restore their lives, and worked tirelessly with thousands of volunteers to gut houses, provide clean up, and restore damaged homes. If you are like me and ask yourself how can you help, then here is one way. Help me raise money, so this foundation can continue to do wonderful things for our first responders and military. It is the least we can do for those who give their all for us every day. I want to thank you for your time and an advance thank you to all who donate.
