THE STORY:
We're so excited to celebrate our wedding with you!
Texas Lions Camp (TLC) has been an integral part of Melissa's life since she started working there when she graduated from college. TLC is a camp designed for kids with physical disabilities, Downs syndrome, and diabetes where they can experience camp just like any other kid. Everything is adaptable, and campers go free of charge through the generosity of Lions Clubs throughout Texas. At TLC campers learn that they can do anything they put their mind to, they're supported, and they get to meet other kids who are just like them. Counselors learn how to be more responsible, compassionate, and caring individuals while making friendships and connections that can last a lifetime. Camp is life changing for everyone involved.
We put some traditional registries up, but really, we'd rather support an organization that does so much good for so many kids around the state.
