Bob's Mustaches are running/walking to support Bob Lohnes - Dad, Husband, Uncle, Grandfather, Scoutmaster, local celebrity and much, much more. The Mustache. Famous. Infamous. You decide.
Bob was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome in August 2013 and sadly passed away on March 15, 2014. We will always honor the Mustache!
The Icla da Silva Foundation's 4th Annual Matchmaker 5K Run/Walk is a fun-filled family-friendly event for people of all ages and abilities. The event will take place on the Firefighters Field, 455 Main Street, Roosevelt Island, NY on Saturday, May 17th, 2014.
You and your family and friends will enjoy the views of Manhattan and the East River while supporting patients with leukemia and lymphoma and other diseases treatable with a marrow transplant.
