EVENT DATE: Dec 20, 2014
"Heavenly hundred" dead activists were named after the bloody events in Kiev February 22, when the security forces shot dozens of people. We support the people's initiative to create a monument to the heroes of "The Heavenly hundred" and perpetuate the memory of Maidan Heroes. All funds will be used to create memorials for the victims of the revolution, cover funeral expenses and the needs of families of Maidan Heroes.
As of today, more than 100 people died in the fighting. Thousands had been wounded, and the number keep growing.
According to volunteered organization Euromaidan-SOS, on March 18, the amount of dead people was 119, including 17 policemen. Euromaidan-SOS also had registered 700 people who disappeared from the first day of clashes. The destiny of 183 people is still undisclosed.
Honor a Heroes of Maidan by donating to charity in their memory. It's a meaningful way to pay tribute and show how they live on in your heart.
