We hope to raise $300 to cover the expenses accumulated by our field trip to Cedar Point on Friday, July 29th. Students in grades K-7, in our Future Leaders Program, will be attending this end of the year field trip to celebrate a successful program year!
Mentor2Youth currently serves 150+ youth annually throughout the school and summer periods with multiple programs. This is made possible with the assistance of 30+ volunteers. Through constant innovation, Mentor2Youth has created an effective model for engaging youth. Partnered with 30+ agencies and organizations, Mentor2Youth has been able to provide critical resources for students in need of them most.
The best way to engage youth at the elementary level is to provide them with opportunities to apply their knowledge. This is what our program is about. We work with students in grades 2-5, providing weekly educational workshops covering a variety of topics. Some of the areas we mentor in: Leadership & character development, social skills enrichment, health & fitness and school-to-career planning. We also provide opportunities for youth to experience life outside of their environment. Mentor2Youth conducts field trips based around: Exposure to new sports, college awareness, cultural awareness, fun and excitement!
