The Luna Project for Girls is a unique opportunity for girls in rural NM to develop stronger and more positive decision-making and coping skills. Montly meetings are held on Saturdays the local library and the girls' input greatly guide the themes and activities centered around empowerment and building self-esteem. We need funds to help sustain the program and operating costs so that there are never any fees charged for the girls. Luna is now in its 5th year and we have served over 75 girls in LIncoln County, NM. It truly is a "special place for girls to be!" and we want to continue to enrich the lives of these amazing young women!
