BENEFITING: Mesa Caledonian Pipe Band Inc
Almost since the very founding of our organization in 1980, we have proudly worn our signature Ancient Bruce of Kinnaird tartan at contests and performances throughout the United States, Canada, and even abroad in Scotland. Often referred to as featuring all the colors of an Arizona sunset, the unique tartan has served us well for the 37 years that we have been in operation.
Now we are excited and proud to turn the page on a new chapter in the band's history and announce that we will be making a change next season: we are taking the first steps toward purchasing new kilts in the Modern Bruce of Kinnaird tartan. This tartan will be similar to the Ancient that we currently wear, paying homage to our 37 years of tradition, but with brighter colors to represent a rejuvenated, forward-looking, vibrant organization that is ever growing and improving.
We are thrilled to announce this change and also to present an opportunity for our family of supporters to become a part of this new chapter in band history. We are looking for 250 of our supporters to donate at least $50 each, which will allow us to reach our goal of $12,500 to outfit the entire band. You are of course free to donate more or less; any size contribution will help get us that much closer to our goal. In addition, as we are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, donations may be tax deductible as determined by your tax professional. We will keep you all updated on our progress toward our goal and how the kiltmaking process is unfolding.
Thank you all for your support, financial and otherwise, as we turn the page on this exciting new chapter of our history.
