Twenty-five Methodist University students and staff members will be traveling with me to Eleuthera Island. We will be working with the non-profit organization Bahamas Methodist Habitat (BMH). BMH provides disaster relief and emergency home repair to local communities on Eleuthera Island. Volunteer’s partner with BMH to serve the small Bahamian island that suffers considerable damage every hurricane season. This work team trip will provide the perfect opportunity to show others the love of Christ in a practical and tangible fashion. During our stay, we will have the opportunity to help with construction projects on individual homes as well as spend time developing relationships with local residents.
