"What if — in just one intense week — you could tap into a limitless source of power you never knew existed? SEALFIT Kokoro Camp is, quite simply, the world’s premier training camp for forging mental toughness, modelled after the US Navy SEAL Hell Week." Click: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlnkHs9O54E
September 17-25 I will be entering the SealFit Training Academy to train with some of the toughest coaches on the planet to test my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual willpower. Involving classes (Seal philosophy, your purpose, emotional resiliency and leadership), physical workouts (olympic lifting, strongman, ultimate endurance, gymnastics, ocean swimming, rucking) and spiritual development (yoga, meditation, breathing and visualisations).
The week culminates in a "50 hour Navy Seal experience that transforms you on every level". One Ironman Triathlete described it as 4+ Ironman's back to back without sleep.
It's easy to say that I will be in a lot of pain and so, over the next year I am preparing myself physically and mentally for this experience.
This journey is dedicated to over 250 million children worldwide who do not have access to basic education. A man once asked a child, begging on the streets in India, what he wanted most in the entire world. His response.... "A pencil".
That man was the founder of Pencils of Promise, an organisation devoted to building schools around the world delivering children their right to education. So far they have built over 300 schools serving over 30,000 children.
It would be an honour to do this to help raise $10,000 knowing that every dollar of donations goes to Pencils of Promise programs.
"You want to set a goal big enough so that in the process of achieving it you become someone worth becoming." ~ Jim Rohn
In return for your help I will train my butt off, visualise my eyes out and goal set till the cows come home in order to become the absolute best version of myself so that I can endure & complete this ridiculously painful endeavour.
