I've always had the desire to do more in this world, but my excuse was always 'I just don't know how to get involved.' This, along with my introverted nature, was enough to keep me from doing something I could be proud of.
Now I am apart of a wonderful organization that has helped over 2,000 dogs and cats find forever homes. This means over 4,000 animals have been saved (when one finds a home, there's a news spot in the shelter for another life).
At the 2015 event alone, over 700 animals were adopted and over 10,000 patrons visited the event. This year, we are aiming to get over 1000 animals adopted! To put on an event of this scale, that is free to all rescues and shelters, we need a lot of funding that will go toward renting the Sharonville Convention center, renting booths and tables for each group, providing outdoor areas for animals to relieve themselves, advertising, among many, many other things.
I know many people just don't have the time or just don't know how to get involved, so please consider donating instead and help us find homes for our furry friends.
