Mia's Destination Imagination for the Homeless
Organized by: Victoria Barrington
Support Mia (a fourth grader) as she brings awareness to her BraindAid project outreach, a team choice challenge through the program, Destination Imagination. Mia and her team, in support of the organization, "Sack Lunch Sunday," developed a skit, logo, and jingle about their work, collecting funds, foods, toiletries, hats, gloves, socks, and scarves to support people who are homeless and living on the streets of Chicago. On Sundays, she and her friends, together with the organization, Sack Lunch Sunday, would walk the the streets of Chicago, and pass out lunches.
Please support Mia and her team by donating money so that they can compete with children from around the world, at Destination Imagination Global Finals in Knoxville, Tennessee. Monetary donations which exceed the fundraising goal will be donated to "Sack Lunch Sunday," an organization that works to feed the people living on the streets of Chicago.
