BENEFITING: GREENBRIER REPERTORY THEATRE COMPANY
I'm turning 29 this year, and I can't think of a better way to kick off the last year of my twenties than to raise money for one of my favorite non-profits . . . the one that employs me! So here's to another year of my life and another year of top-notch professional theatre in Lewisburg!
I'm the Development Manager at Greenbrier Valley Theatre, the State Professional Theatre of West Virginia. That means I'm responsible for our grants, fundraising campaigns, special events . . . and other duties as assigned. I wear lots of hats here, and one of them even puts me onstage sometimes. From a narcoleptic housewife to Fern Arable in CHARLOTTE'S WEB to a young Tammy Wynette, I've had a bunch of fantastic theatrical adventures since moving to Lewisburg in late 2012.
As the theatre looks forward to our 50th anniversary in 2017, I anticipate the many fundraising campaigns that lie in my future. So, like any good development staffer, I am sacrificing my birthday for the work that I love. I'll be working that day anyway. Visit our GVTalk blog or our website to learn more about what we do and why, and if you're in Lewisburg, stop by for a visit or a tour or a show. Your donation to my birthday campaign will help us keep producing live, professional theatre in southern West Virginia and offering awesome educational opportunities to the youth of the Greenbrier Valley and beyond!
PLUS, you'll be helping me meet my ambitious fundraising goals!
All donations to my birthday campaign will be credited to the 2015 Annual Campaign at Greenbrier Valley Theatre and earmarked for our year-round youth education program. These funds are used to underwrite general operating and production expenses.
Greenbrier Valley Theatre, the State Professional Theatre of West Virginia, produced a full calendar of live theatrical and music events, as well as year-round education opportunities. The highest-quality photos on the fundraising page (2 & 5) were taken by the magnificent 84 Agency.
