Ainsley's Angels is thrilled to help ensure Michael can soon roll with the wind again in his very own BLADE, by Team Hoyt Running chairs. With your generosity, we are certain this can happen soon. We know the positive energy surrounding the start line as we prepare to be included and "roll with the wind", and the normalcy of the family, is a therapy like no other.
Here is a note from Michael's Mom, Tia:
Michael is 15 years old and he loves to wheelchair race in 5ks and was on his middle school track team in a racing wheelchair. He is not able to race in his wheelchair now due to his health issues causing him some major issues right now. He had shoulder surgery 3 months ago and will have the other shoulder surgery in 10 days, he dreams of racing again when he is healthy enough again to do so, but we will have to wait and see. Michael has Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Dysautonmia, P.O.T.S. plus other health needs. Michael and I were talking and I have decided to help him keep his dream of racing alive. So, that is where having this push chair would help so much, as I will be pushing him in during the races! Thank you for considering. YES, YOU CAN...donate right now to ensure the thrill of rolling with the wind and crossing a road race finish line! Click the pink button in the upper right of this page or e-mail: info@AinsleysAngels.org for a link to make a donation using PayPay and/or for a mailing address should you prefer to donate by check. We will ensure all donations appear on this page as off-line donations.
