BENEFITING: MYTEAM TRIUMPH
Ainsley's Angels is thrilled to help ensure Michael can soon roll with the wind in a Team Hoyt Custom chair! With your generosity, we are certain this can happen soon! As the father of two very special girls that race together with me, I know that the positive energy surrounding the start line, the togetherness of every member preparing to "roll with the wind", the normalcy of the family is a therapy like no other. Here is a note from Michael's Dad, Jim:
Michael and I have been running events since he was a baby. Michael is diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. He is confined to a chair. Running events he loves. We have finished the Marine Corps marathon with his brothers, many 5Ks, Duathlons and recently the Miami Ironman (70.3) pictures attached. We met Dick Hoyt in Orlando years ago and I call him to get recommendations on equipment and more.
Michael is a volunteer for his community police department delivering the mail. He completed the Citizens on Patrol Academy where he volunteers to ride the in the community as the eyes and ears of the police.
Michael fund raises for Shriner's Children's Hospitals for the 911 Fitness Challenge, a weight loss event to help 911 responders lose weight.
Michael also helps fund raise for the Dolphins Cycling Challenge, we ride 100 miles to combat Cancer. Michael also helps with fundraising for Best Buddies International, we ride 100 miles to generate awareness of building friendships for people with special needs.
We have had difficulty buying equipment because its very costly. We want to continue riding with the help of Ainsley's Angels. Thank you!
