As a resource teacher for children with hearing loss, Michelle Christie saw low-income kids struggling to keep up. When Christie discovered that performing arts often built self-esteem and increased oral language skills, she founded No Limits Theater Group. Today her group offers support and enrichment programs to 600 children with hearing loss, including free educational centers for kids and their families in three cities. In the last 20 years, No Limits has reached more than 150,000 people nationwide.
