MCCA's Countering Domestic Violence Program includes a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, court advocacy, counseling services, adult/youth support and education, community awareness and professional trainings.
Neville House is a 24 hour emergency shelter that provides shelter, safety and support for women and children who are victims of domestic violence. We offer an offsite shelter for male victims of domestic violence. Advocates are available on the hotline to assess victims for eligibility.
Our program provides free and confidential counseling to victims of domestic violence. Our Therapist works with men and women, and also facilitates our education groups. Our Youth Services Advocate works to support and educate both residential and non-residential children on issues of domestic violence, as well as providing domestic violence prevention education to the local schools and public awareness through the community.
Last year, MCCA served 912 survivors of domestic violence, 783 aduilts and 129 children.
