Mikayla's Collage fund
Organized by: Mikayla Simpson
My name is Mikayla Simpson, and I am 13 years old. I am currently in my freshman year of highschool and my life dream and goal is to attend University of Pennsylvania and become a private criminal defense attourney. I plan to take classes at the junior collage every single single summer, and am also taking 0 Period every year to get ahead on credits. My plan is to graduate after my junior year, and spend what would have been my senior year doing voulenteer work with the elderly and disabled, and taking a few legal studies classes at my local JC to get a jump start on collage. I extremely yearn to be a lawyer, because I have always had a passion for the legal system. I want to devote my life to helping people get what is right for them, and what abides to their constitutional rights as American citizens. UPenn has a great legal studies program and education, which includes top professors, and a 98.6% bar pass rate. That is extremely high considering half of the people in the United States fail the bar. University of Pennsylvania costs $60,000 a year, and I cannot afford that. UPenn is my dream school, and I am not going to let finances ruin my goal.
