Three girls from Barrow County, the Baldwin sisters, have always counted on each other to lean on. Their mother, Brenda, started bringing them to church almost 15 years ago and there they have faith in Jesus and lean on Him. In September, Brenda was diagnosed with lung cancer. While deciding on treatment for that, Brenda had a stroke in late October. She seemed to be on the road to recovery when just after Thanksgiving she had a second stroke that she never recovered from. On December 2, 2015, we all had to say goodbye to the earthly Brenda Baldwin Reynolds. Her daughters, Jennifer, Jonna and Jamie, were heartbroken, but focused on the future and chose to continue on. Then a stronger relationship with their father, Mike Baldwin, was beginning to develop. Mike was making strong efforts to once again be a part of their lives. Then the most devastating news they could ever hear came March 12, 2016. Mike Baldwin had gone to bed early not feeling well, and just a little while later was found having had a massive heart attack unable to be revived.
Now, Jennifer and Jonna and their husbands have been given the responsibility of raising ten year old Jamie and covering the cost of burying their father. By joining together we can help these girls fulfill their obligations.
