My son Mike Kaigle, On the 15th of October 2016, suffered a massive asthma attack. The attack was so severe that his heart stopped on 3 different occasions and the doctors had to perform CPR to bring him back to life, but Mike's brain was deprived of oxygen for 15 minutes all toguether. Today Mike is still on life support and in a coma, this is day 5. Yesterday, the 19th, the doctors did a CT scan to verify if there was any damage to Mike's brain. Mike has swelling on the brain, so at this point the doctors are stating that Mike does have brain damage, the doctors are just not sure on how much and will not be able to know until Mike wakes up. Mike has 2 little girls that love him very much and need their daddy to get better and once he wakes up, he needs to only concentrate on getting better and healthy and not worry about finances and how he will live once he lives the hospital. Mike is a wonderful caring man who has a great zest for life, he loves his girls and girlfriend deeply and his family, and we all love him very very much. Mike's girlfriend Collette has been by his side since the very beginning providing him with love, support, she reads to him and talks to him and plays music for him, for this, she had to take time off her work to be there for Mike 100%, he is the love of her life, her soulmate and she would not have it any other way. But unfortunetely, since she is with him all the time, she does not have money to eat or take care of herself, her money is all going to parking and gas for when she needs to go home and shower, she is not even able to eat properly. Me, as his mother and our family are asking for help, anything that you are able to help with would be greatly appreciated. The funds would go towards Mike's care once he is well and comes out of the hospital for a place to live, food, medication, any type of theripy do to his brain damage. Hopefully, and we are praying, once he is better, he will be able to return to work and continue his wonderful life, but we need your help to get him started. We would also really appreciate all your prayers and positive thoughts for Mike to get well. Thank you very much and i promise to keep you all up dated on his condition.
