This is our family's 4th year raising money by running in the Falmouth Road Race. We have raised money for CCALS and a breast cancer charity, both close to our hearts. This year is exciting as we are running for the SAM PAWLAK COMMUNITY PLAYGROUND, an all inclusive playground which will be built at Coolidge Park. The park was the idea of Judy Jollimore and Beth LeBlanc, both students at Nashoba Regional High School where my dad served as principal for many years and in memory of my father who passed away from ALS in 2015. After my father retired, he worked and volunteered with children with special needs and I know he loved his time with the kids as much as he loved his years as principal. My father was always involved in public education, basketball refereeing, and working with children. This playground, which will be all inclusive for children from Fitchburg and all of the surrounding communities will be a beautiful tribute to the life of service which he led. There are 10 members on our team and I encourage you to donate to any team member... Thank you to all who donate!

This year Collin and I are both running the Falmouth Road Race on August 20, 2017! We are running for the SAM PAWLAK COMMUNITY PLAYGROUND. This will be the 4th year I have attended the race and the 1st year I will be running! During the first race in 2014 I sat next to Bip, a.k.a. Sam Pawlak, and watched dozens of runners stop to say hi and give him a hug. It was awesome to see how many peoples lives he was apart of and had influence on. I am excited to be apart of the race and to help raise money for the Sam Pawlak Community Playground this year.
