Rape Victim A… SAYS:
The No More Challenge ended …
The No More Challenge ended last week and RVA is thrilled to announce that we raised $47,592. It’s hard to believe that we actually raised this amount in less than 6 weeks! Every dollar raised means that we are able to continue to provide the essential services we provide every day to survivors of sexual violence, their loved ones and their communities.

All of us at RVA – board, staff and volunteers – are overwhelmed with gratitude to you, our donors, who made 468 donations!!! A 38-member fundraising team really went above and beyond to secure donations from friends, family and colleagues for the Challenge. This experience was certainly a team effort and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Up until the last 60 seconds, we were in 3rd place, but in the very last seconds, slipped to 4th. Although initially disappointed that we did not win the additional $20,000, we are celebrating the incredible feat of raising close to $48,000 to support our comprehensive rape crisis services – thanks to you!

Thank you again for your participation in the No More Challenge, and your support of RVA and the survivors we serve. Because of your generosity, we can ensure that no survivor is ever alone.

Dearest friends and family, …
Dearest friends and family,

I'm now a month in to being 40, and I'm still alive. This is in part because of you. Thank you for making my birthday - and my campaign - a slam-dunk success!

Together, we raised $4,655 for the Center for Advancing Domestic Peace! We made a huge impact, raising over 10% of the grand total raised, which was $42,866!

Last night, the board of directors met. I cannot express how much of a difference this makes on their programs. The staff are empowered by this support. And most importantly, the uncountable number of people who will have the tools to NOT abuse...and all those people, women and children, who will NOT become victims of abuse.

So thank you. Be sure to check out www.advancingdomesticpeace.org if you're interested in watching us grow. You'll find me continuing to volunteer to fundraise for them at future events. Or just reach out if you have any questions about the Center for Advancing Domestic Peace.

If I haven't told you alread…
If I haven't told you already, THANK YOU x 1,000,000 for donating to my campaign for Advancing Domestic Peace. I'm fortunate to have been raised free from domestic violence (except for that one time my brother pushed me and I hit my head...HAHAHAHAA!). But seriously, not everyone can joke like that, and I'm deeply grateful to you supporting me and my cause. This organization is small but makes big differences in people's lives, so your donation is helping to BREAK the CYCLE of violence...it's a learned behavior that CAN be unlearned...and even better, stopped being taught to future generations.

NOTE: If you're joining me at the East Bank Club on February 28 (I know many of you cannot), please let me know. Space is filling up, and I want to make sure you're on the list!

Again, thank you and XOXO...Craig
