Milan Bullybuster Club is students from Milan High School, Middle School, Later Elementary and Early Elementary. Most of them have participated in our summer Bully Proofing Camps where we teach kids non-violent, non-confrontational ways to deal with bully situations if they or someone else is being bullied. Each school's members meet once a week to discuss specific situations in their school and what can be done to stop it. Money is used for snacks, to purchase t-shirts for members (which they wear to school on specific days to promote the group and build team identity), and occasional "field trips." This is a volunteer organization (a program of 4 Hands for Kids, a Michigan non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. Bullybuster clubs are mentored/supervised by a retired social worker with a Master's Degree in Social Work from The University of Michigan.
