BENEFITING: BRYNNES SMILES INC
EVENT DATE: Oct 13, 2013
The 2013 Chicago Marathon on October 13 will mark a milestone for me as it will be the halfway point through all 50 states. I am training hard and hoping to run a personal best time of less than 3 hours and 26 min. More importantly, I will be running for an awesome charity called Brynne' Smiles.
Founded by a family that has known the struggle of raising a child with a rare disease, Brynne's charity has been built on the vision of Sharing More In Life's Everyday Struggles.
Brynne, herself, embodies the spirit of the marathon! She has always had a "never say quit" attitude despite a long, difficult journey. Running 26.2 miles is nothing compared to the race she and her family have been running. I am inspired to run this race in her honor and to raise funds that will help other families in need. I will be running specifically for the Miles for Smiles program.
"Miles for Smiles is our newest program designed to provide travel assistance for families or individuals in need. While we are foreseeing most travel needs will be a result of medical issues, we hope to provide assistance for other needs as well such as bereavement or perhaps a military family to see their soldier. We hope to inspire others to get out and get active for this great cause."

The foundation of Brynne’s Smiles is based on 1 Peter 4:10 which says “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
Would you please donate today and help other families as they run the race before them! I am setting a lofty goal of $10,000 ....which is ONLY about 7 cents per foot over the 26.2 mile distance of the marathon!! But imagine how many miles will be covered for families when they need it the most.
Thank you! See you at the finish line!
