BENEFITING: MELANOMA RESEARCH FOUNDATION
Hi! My name is Sarah, and I am racing in an Ironman 70.3 (long-distance triathlon: 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, and 13.1 mile run) to help raise money for melanoma research, which is the fastest growing cancer for people under 35 years old and is especially prevalent for women. I started racing triathlons when I was 16 years old, and I have always been passionate about staying fit and active :) I hope that by raising money for the Melanoma Research Foundation we can find better treatments, faster diagnosis tools, and improve education on preventative measures so that melanoma ceases to be one of the fastest killers of young people.
Thank you for your support!
