THE STORY:

Hi everyone our family could really use your help! Our puppy Milo got out yesterday and got grabbed by a larger dog. His jaw was fractured in 2 places and needs surgery. The surgery will cost about $2000 and the vet bill for today's visit was a little over $300. We could use your help to pay for the cost of surgery or we may have to give him to someone that can afford the cost. He is part of our family, Lucas my self and our kids love and adore him and I would hate to lose him from our family but we will do what's best for him. I'm planning to also do a fundraiser by selling baked goods. If you would like to know the full story keep reading. Last night our son Cypress was playing with the neighbor kids. He had came back in for a drink then ran back out side when he did this he let Milo out. He then went back over to the neighbors house he opened the door with out knocking first and their dog ran past Cypress and grabbed ahold of Milo. It was a really horrible accident and know ones to blame but us. So Cypress runs in back in the house saying Milo was bleeding and the other dog had gotten him. I ran out to get Milo and I immediately realized his jaw looked broke or out of place. We rushed him to the ER vet. They said all they could do was stabilize him, give him so pain meds and sent us home with some canned dog food and syringes to feed him with for the night. He obviously didn't want any food or water. So we made him as comfortable as can be until morning. Is a lot more perkier come morning. You could tell he was feeling a little better but not by a lot. I called until I could find a vet that could get him in that morning. We got to the vet they did a full exam on him. They decided it would be best to sedate him and give him some pain medication so they could get a better look. They did an x Ray and 2 parks of this lower jaw were fractured. They had me come back a few hours later so he could wake up from sedation on his own. They let me know they couldn't do the surgery at their office and referred us to an office that could but that they won't be able to see us for about a week and that it would be up wards of $2000. Obviously my heart sunk thinking how are we going to afford this. I figured maybe if each of our friends gave us $10 or even $5 that maybe we can pay for this. Even $1 anything will help. I appreciate any and all help we can get to help our poor Milo. Thank you!
