Want to renew yourself for spring and help transform the lives of some of NYC’s neediest kids at the same time? Then sign up today for the Mindful May Challenge!
Here’s how it works:
You commit to adding a mindful habit for the month of May—or subtracting an unmindful one. Take on daily yoga, meditation, running, flossing, whatever you’ve been meaning to do. Or ditch the cigarettes, caffeine, processed food, television, yelling, gossiping, what have you. Pick just one thing that will make your light shine brighter in the world. Be creative!
Then, simply click “Join The Team,” and ask your family and friends to sponsor your effort. Or better yet, recruit your colleagues to do an office challenge together!
You’ll be raising money for the Lineage Project, which offers mindfulness practices including yoga and meditation to incarcerated youth and youth at risk of incarceration in New York City. These practices can literally be life-saving for young people in need, but we have to raise at least $50,000 this spring to keep up with the demand for Lineage classes.
