I have been involved with Minds Matter over the past four plus years and am currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Boston Chapter. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to give back in my hometown to this incredible organization.
The stats speak for themself. Over the past thirteen years, we have had 100% of our graduating seniors go on to four year college programs, despite the fact that many of them are first generation college students. All of our students must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA and come from families with less than $30,000 a year in household income.
Minds Matter’s mission is to transform the lives of these accomplished high school students from low-income families by broadening their dreams and preparing them for college success.
We aim to equip underprivileged high school students with the tools to gain acceptance to top-tier academic summer programs and four-year universities, as we believe no student dedicated to earning a college education should be limited by socioeconomic status.
