Raise funds to preserve historical letters and artifacts currently housed in the Minerva Free Library, Sherman, NY. This library was built by Oliver Wilcox Norton as a gift to his sister Elizabeth Norton Ploss. They were abolitionists during the Civil War and were very involved with the Underground Railroad. Oliver Wilcox Norton was also a soldier with the Union Army and was at the Battle of Gettysburg. His family later built Norton Hall(the opera house) in the Chautauqua Instiute as a tribute to him.
