July 14, 2017
BENEFITING: VAN ANDEL RESEARCH INSTITUTE
ORGANIZER: VAN ANDEL RESEARCH INSTITUTE
EVENT DATE: Aug 05, 2017
Many of you know I am crazy about my MINI Cooper. I love driving it and love the people I meet as part of the MINI Community. This will be my third attempt at setting the Guinness Book of World Records for the most MINI Coopers to cross a suspension bridge. I know this will be our year!
MINI on the Mack is not only a fun event, it is an event for a CAUSE. This year, we teaming up with Van Andel Institute’s Purple Community, to raise awareness and funds for Parkinson’s disease research happening in Grand Rapids, Michigan! This is a disease near to my heart. My dad's mom suffered from this disease and now my uncle has it too.
Please consider donating to this cause (via my fundraising page) and help cheer us MINI owners on August 5th when we set the Guinness Book of World Records crossing the Mackinaw Bridge! EVERY dollar of every donation goes directly to the cause – that’s 100% HOPE!
When you give to Van Andel Institute through Purple Community, you are giving hope to countless individuals and families all over the world that have been touched by cancer, Parkinson’s and other diseases being research at VAI.
Van Andel Institute (VAI) is an independent biomedical research and science education organization committed to improving the health and enhancing the lives of current and future generations.
