October 24, 2016
EVENT DATE Nov 06, 2016
Hello friends! It's been almost 4 years since I left US.
As some of you may know, I started Champ Kitchen, a healthy meal delivery startup, a year ago. We've been trying to educate people what a sustainable healthy diet is, and how to enjoy an active life.
To represent what we preach, I started training for a marathon earlier this year, and I'm finally ready for my first marathon in NewYork City! My goal for the race is to promote Lacrosse in Korea and to raise money for Team Korea.
I've been part of the team for almost 8 years, and since then, there has been no financial support for the athletes. We've been paying ourselves for all the equipment, field reservations, international flights, and even uniforms. To participate one international match, we pay an average of whopping $2500 per person.
In July 2017, the next World Cup is held in London, and I want my team to train without any financial worries and make sure none of the athletes miss the chance to make the national team because of the financial issue.
I am absolutely ready to challenge myself to run 26.2 miles. If you want to show your support, please donate for the development of Korea women's lacrosse team!
