Mission Trip: Shamshabad, India

One More Day!!
October 02, 2016
EVENT DATE Oct 04, 2016
Recently, an opportunity arose for me to do something that I've wanted to do since I was very young. I've been invited on a missions trip to India. Ever since reading biographies about Amy Carmichael when I was younger, I've felt God's calling to go there someday. Much to my surprise, that day now is only a month away.
I am planning to leave for India October 2nd, and most likely return around the 12th to 14th. I am planning to travel to Shamshabad, India with two others: Pastor Troy Ables, and a girl named Hazel. Shamshabad is about 15 miles south of the larger city Hyderabad. While in India, we will be training as many as 60 young Indians to teach other children the gospel as well. I am excited about this opportunity, and can't wait to see what God will do.
As you can imagine, travelling half-way across the world will have its expenses. The round-trip plane ticket will be $1500, plus additional ministry expenses. (Food, transportation, supplies, etc.) With both combined, the total cost of my trip will likely be around $2500. If you can support me in any financial way, I would be grateful.
However, most importantly I will need your prayer support. Please pray for me and the two others going, as well as the children we will be ministering to and their families. Your prayers are the greatest support. I am excited to see what God has in store for me.
