Mission Trip To Uganda
Organized by: Mackenzie Butterfield
My name is Mackenzie and I am a college student majoring in Brain and Behavioral Sciences, in hopes of becoming a neuropsychiatrist. I plan on working with people that are suffering from severe head injuries. I, myself, suffered a head injury over a year ago and am still getting back on my feet. This injury is what inspired me to go into the field I am pursuing so that I am able to spend the rest of my life helping others. I grew up in a Christian home with a loving family and have had many opportunities to travel and explore the world. More recently, I discovered an opportunity to travel to Fort Portal, Uganda, Africa. There, I would be serving with Y.E.S. Uganda missions who provide shelter, care, and education for orphaned Africans while sharing the gospel. A little about YES Uganda: Y.E.S. Uganda began in 1996 by Carol Adams to help orphaned children and children with sick parents. This organization helps educate, shelter, provide employment, and even provide immunizations for residents in the area. To learn more visit http://www.caroladamsministry.com/ I plan to be in Uganda in the summer of 2017 and will staying with a host family, but I will need money for travel, stay, vaccinations, food, etc. All remaining funds will be spent on donations to the kids in Uganda. Please help me achieve this goal where it's by donating or sharing my page. Thank you and God bless!
