New Mexico Horse Rescue At Walkin N Circles Ranch, Inc. (WNCR) exists to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide proper care and humane treatment to unwanted, abused and abandoned horses! http://www.wncr.org Our purpose is to provide each rescued horse humane and caring attention in which fear and pain are left at the front gate. Following a total assessment, gentle rehabilitation and/or retraining, and a rigorous screening process, we endeavor to find loving adoptive homes for each of our rescued horses. Our primary objective is to provide each rescued horse a chance for a new start in a useful and productive life.
As a New Mexico Equine Rescue, Walkin N Circles is licensed, regulated and inspected annually by the New Mexico State Livestock Board. For more that ten years, WNCR has remained steadfast in its dedication to rescuing, providing proper care, and the full rehabilitation of "unwanted" horses that are abandoned, abused, unmanageable, or in some cases, destined for the slaughterhouse. Due to our committed care, WNCR has actually created miraculous transformations for some of these magnificent animals. It is our goal to provide all rescued equines with new beginnings and new productive lives with loving adoptive families.
Hindered by recent drought and then floods, on top of the economic down turn, the NM Horse Rescue at Walkin N Circles Ranch has seen a steady rise in owner surrenders, abused, neglected and abandoned horses. The cost to care for so many is high and the resources few. Please help me help WNCR.
For every $20.00 donated one of our volunteers will hug one of the many rescues currently being cared for at Walkin N Circles Ranch. For every $50.00 donated one of our dedicated volunteers will kiss a horse. We will document all this loving with photos to prove your dollars were well spent and ALL the money raised will go towards feed, a new tractor, an indoor arena, medications and/or vaccines, whatever the NM Horse Rescue at Walkin N Circles needs.
The Mistletoe Kiss-a-Horse-athon is also part of #GivingTuesday.
