Help us reach our goal of raising $10,000 through this challenge to help with the spay and neuter of cats and dogs in our county. For every $80 raised one animal can be spayed or neutered. Meeting our goal means that over 125 pets can be fixed.
Mitchell County Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 non profit organization.
We actively promote spay & neuter as the most effective way to reduce the population of unwanted animals in the county. The most commonly stated reason preventing families from having their pets spayed and neutered is cost.
In cooperation with a local veterinarian we operate an effective low cost s/n program for the public. Additionally, MCAR offers funding to cover s/n costs for families needing assistance, and all shelter pets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
Back us because you know our animals deserve the best from us, and please share us with your friends.
