M'KIS Habitat for Humanity 2015 Build Trip
Organized by: Bradley Manker
A world where everyone has a decent place to live. (Habitat for Humanity International vision statement)
The Mont'Kiara International School (M'KIS) chapter of Habitat for Humanity started as a service club in 2000, where students could provide service for their community by building homes for those who could not afford a decent home on their own. This year, our goal is to send 30 students and 4 teachers to build two homes in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia during our school break in October. With the earthquake having struck only weeks ago, our help is more important than ever. Your generous support will allow us to pay to purchase building materials and provide qualified labour to guide us as we build. The money we collect will also be helping to provide transportation, housing, and food for the building team while we are in Kota Kinabalu.
Your support can make a difference not only for the student builders from M'KIS, but also to the families who will receive a new home thanks to your generosity and our labor. Thank you for your support!
