BENEFITING: Solea Water
EVENT DATE: Mar 25, 2016
I first heard about Solea Water last March through a friend, and knew I needed to get involved. By July I was a member of the board, and it has been an exciting whirlwind since!
Solea Water is a passionate, innovative, and fast growing organization who is changing what it means for communities in Latin America and the Caribbean to have access to clean water. This includes Haiti, one of the poorest countries in the world. This March, I will be traveling there with Solea to educate rural communities on the effective use of sawyer filters and repairing wells.
But I need your help getting me there! All donations are incredibly helpful, but to make it a little more fun, I am giving away STL inspired T-shirts to anyone who donates $25+. Not in town? I will mail it to you, no charge!
Want to send check or cash instead? Make the check out to Solea Water and send to: Solea Water 4818 Washington Blvd St. Louis, MO 63108
Make sure to write "Melissa" in the memo line, so it goes to my fellowship fee.
