We are a couple that loves to ride our motorcycles. Each year we venture out and go on one long ride packing on the miles. This year we decided that why not put our miles to good use and ride for a cause!
So, since we know many women and families that have been affected by breast cancer, some close to us and some through word of mouth, we decided to take action. We are turning our ride into a fundraiser ride. We hope to raise awareness about this disease and also raise money for the PA Breast Cancer Coalition.
~~Every penny that we raise will go to the PABCC. We keep nothing. We are fundng our ride ourselves in full 100%.~~
The PABCC helps empower women with knowledge, bring them support and is the source of action and information for women in Pennsylvania with breast cancer. The PBCC is a statewide organization based in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, with a board of directors, a staff of eight and a network of volunteers across the state. The PBCC exists to help the 12,000 women in Pennsylvania who will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, to support the families of the 2,200 women who will lose that battle and to serve as a resource for the hundreds of thousands more women currently living with the disease. They accomplish this through statewide educational programming, legislative advocacy and breast cancer research grants.
Help us on our mission of finding a cure now…so our daughters won’t have to.
Support our ride and help us meet our goal to raise $2,000.00 for this non-profit organization. Any amount that you can donat wo uld be very helpful and much appreciated.
We will be reaching out to the hotels we stop at, gas stations, and Harley Davidson Dealers in route. If we receive items rather than a monetary donation, we will hold an auction for the items and donate the money received.
