This is my first ever half marathon, and I'm running to raise money for an awesome organization-- Malaria No More. As you might have guessed, they are dedicated to eliminating deaths from Malaria. You can check out their website here!
My fundraising goal is $1,250 -- and this isn't any arbitrary goal, either. Everyone on Team MNM is required to meet this goal!
As a thank you, those of you that donate $20 or more will receive a lovely handwritten note from yours truly!
$40 or more - you will receive a lovely handwritten note as well as a vile of my sweat (optional) and a cyber high-five!
Anyone who donates $100 or more -- you'll also receive a handwritten note, and I'll like you the most compared to everyone else! And your note will probably be prettier and nicer.
Thanks for your support! And wish me luck in my training!

On March 17, 2013, Team Malaria No More will join 15,000 runners in the 2013 NYC Half Marathon. The NYC Half is one of New York Road Runners’ most beloved, starting in Central Park and racing through Times Square – during one of the only times Times Square is closed off from traffic each year – and down the Westside Highway to the finish line at the historic South Street Seaport.
Registration is now closed for the race, but Team MNM has 10 entries available for those raising money to support our life-saving work. If you or someone you know is interested in running with us, go to www.malarianomore.org/what-we-do/nyc-half-marathon-2013 or contact Richard Thayer at Richard@MalariaNoMore.org / 212.710.5881.
