I volunteer with Lucky Pup Rescue, which helps transport dogs (of all ages) from Southern shelters to the Northeast for adoption. Many of these dogs come from shelters with high kill rates because the local areas are so congested with excess animals. They find loving homes up here in the Northeast. The rescue is trying to raise money for a new transport vehicle that would be used to pick up the pups in the South and transport them North. Wont you donate to help out? My lucky pup alumni would love to see more of her brothers and sisters from the South transported up to new and loving families.
