Mom with COPD needs help saving her life
Organized by: Preston Smith
My mom is 44yrs old and disabled. She has a hereditary disease called alpha1 antitrypsin disorder. It damages your liver as a child then your lungs. She doesn't receive enough from SSI to even make ends meet with a minor child still in the home. Drs have said at her age she is eligible for a surgery at Vanderbilt in Nashville TN called LVRS, removal of both upper lobes of her lungs and possibly liver transplant list could give her a few more years here with her children. All of her immediate family have passed away and she doesn't have alot left. If c she doesn't have this surgery drs have told me she will not live to see me get married. If everyone could donate $5 or $10 that would greatly help with expenses of traveling 200 miles away from our home and reliable transportation to get her there so come on people help me keep my mom a few more years no one wants to lose their mother especially if they know she has a chance at life. Please help us any donations are greatly appreciated.
