I have been directly affected by cancer. I know what it looks like. I know what it sounds like. I know how everyone around it acts when it comes into our lives.
Cancer sucks. A lot.
There is this sweet organization in Sherman Oaks, CA called weSPARK Cancer Support Center. They provide free support and services to not just the patient, but to the friends and families of those affected by cancer.
I want to express how deeply I feel about the way this organization changes lives. The money you give will help support these families along this strenuous journey by offering free support groups, integrative therapies, and creative and educational workshops.
My goal is to raise $1,000.
You don’t have to feel bad about every birthday, anniversary, graduation and milestone of mine that you missed. If I asked that you give $10 for just one of those to support this cause, it would be better than any gift.
I think about how many missed moments there are because of cancer. I think of how many missed laughs, hugs, and joys because of such a scary experience.
By giving to this cause, you are letting me know that you want to make this journey better for everyone involved through weSPARK Cancer Support Center. You are telling me that you too hate cancer. You are making it clear that we all need more laughs, more hugs, and more joy with the time we have together!
Thank you in advance for this gift. It means more than you can imagine.
