Mood Disorder Peer-to-Peer Support Group
Organized by: Eileen Warmbrand

No one knows better than someone who's been there. No one knows better how it feels. No one understands better, no one connects better. For those living with Depression and Bipolar Disorder and their family, friends, and supporters sharing with peers in a safe, confidential environment can be an incredible healing experience. Peer-to-Peer support is a proven tool toward wellness. Sharing not only stories but, information and coping strategies, peers are role models of success through the tough times toward wellness. There are no professionals; social workers, psychiatrists, etc. We help each other help ourselves. The group is assisted by a medical advisor. I need funds for advertising; printing flyers, ads in local papers, etc. and a website. There is no charge for meetings, no dues. I will eventually need liability insurance.
