BENEFITING: ART CREATION FOUNDATION FOR CHILDREN INC
Fundraiser for Art Creation Foundation For Children: A non-profit dedicated to youth empowerment and community development through art in Jacmel, Haiti. Working with international community artist Laurel True, youth from the Art Creation Foundation For Children (ACFFC) will create drawings of mosaic flowers and butterflies that will be created in mosaic by volunteer artists from the US and Canada and installed in the pediatric ward of the newly built Hospital St. Michel in Jacmel. Youth from the ACFFC Jacmel Mozaik Team and Mosaic Program Director Laurel True will install these colorful mosaic flowers and butterflies in the Children’s Ward of the newly built hospital to be enjoyed by pediatric patients and their families. Funds raised through this fundraiser will go to support the essential programs at ACFFC, which supports children in extreme poverty and challenging situations by offering meals, school fees and uniforms, health care and art education. See this article about Jacmel and ACFFC to learn more about this amazing program. The mosaics created through this fundraiser will be donated to Hospital St. Michel to add color and beauty to the newly built pediatric ward, which will serve children from the entire south-east region of Haiti.
