A mother, La Porsha Lawson, and her disabled son, KhaiLee, with cerebral palsy lost everything to a fire started during the Baltimore Riots on the night of 4/27/15. They are left homeless and are now relying on donations from the Baltimore community to put a shelter over their heads and new furnishings around them. Her son's wheelchair was also destroyed, as well as many of his medical supply needs we can only imagine.
The Baltimore Community has vowed to clean up after it's wrong doing, which we have seen by hundreds of generous volunteers. But we are hoping to raise awareness within Baltimore City and the surrounding communities regarding this one family who lost their personal livelihood due to the selfless acts we saw on the eve of 4/27/15. There are many negative views toward our City and citizens who were seen tearing through the streets with no regard to other's personal property.
Let's create one positive view by simply donating to this family in need.
